Lately I am analyzing workflows for a small insurance consulting group and creating solutions with Open Source ™ software and commodity hardware.
I tend to enjoy music from the dance and trance genres. As for televsion, I enjoy watching The Shield, Over There (canceled), Alias (over), Rome, and, of course, Battlestar Galactia. Quite excellent writing. While I administer TrekWeb, I have to admit with great sadness that Trek has fallen from grace since the end of The Next Generation and its outstanding finale, All Good Things. I enjoy movies, too, and among my favorites are Sneakers and Wargames. Few other movies correctly portray technology, except perhaps Enemy of the State, which is just good fun too. And, obviously, Office Space!
When I game, I often enjoy Enemy Territory, although recently I purchased Battlefield 2 and a new system to go with it. Previously I abused Silent Hunter III, Tactical Ops, Silent Hunter II, and Fallout Tactics.
