New version of Linux traffic control guide up

I rewrote some sections and added some basic stuff about the u32 selector.

I may play with ingress ’shaping’ some, but I haven’t decided yet. I rarely saturate my downstream, so it’s usually not that important. It might be useful to add for completeness. For it to be completely functional, I would need to configure IMQ, too, since I have two internal interfaces with boxes behind them that might download. Configuring all that is a bit much when it’s not strictly necessary.

I’m thinking about looking at ipp2p again, too. Last I checked using it requires you also use ipconnmark, which is not yet included in the standard Netfilter distribution yet. L7 does not cleanly patch against 2.6.9 yet, which I am running since it resolves a strange Oops condition, so I’m not even using L7 right now. Thusly I probably don’t need to mess with ipp2p that badly, either.

I emailed a note to the Debian Weekly Newsletter about my Exim4 and Courier IMAP guide. Perhaps they’ll mention it.
