Oh, yay. They’re going to give me a free copy of my credit report because they really appreciate my business. Okay, sounds good… and then here comes the pitch. Along with that, to show just how much I am appreciated as a customer, I’m being given the opportunity, if I accept the credit report, to find myself enrolled in a $9/mo program I don’t care about… if I accept the gift of appreciation.
What the hell?
What a bunch of sleeze bags. It’s apparent my business isn’t of much interest to them and they do very much want to rape me for all I’m worth.
No.
If they had simply stopped at “we’d like to send you a copy of your credit report because we appreciate your business” my opinion of MBNA, which has already hit an all time low, would have actually improved.
I guess they fucked that one up, eh?
I’m really sick of companies calling to show me how much they appreciate my business by trying to screw me into some no-obligation program.
